My husband, Eric, goes off to work while I stay at home and take care of Eleanor. Most nights I cook dinner.
I'm morally opposed to fast food and separate meals for children.
I love to cook, read about cooking, talk about cooking, think about cooking, and eat cooking.

A while ago I realized that a very large majority of the content of my emails to friends and family was recipes and descriptions of food, so now I have this blog instead.
While I'm not a professional chef by any means, I do know what I'm doing.
Sometimes when I cook for people who aren't my family, it doesn't turn out well. I think it's performance anxiety. I'm working on it.
